Box Office report [June 7, 2026]: Peddi nears Rs 250 crore mark, Obsession and Backrooms hold steady

New Delhi: Last week, several Bollywood and regional films were released in theatres, bringing some good numbers to the ticket window. While starring Ram Charan is having a dream run at the box office, Varun Dhawan’s Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai is struggling to maintain momentum.

Peddi Box Office collection

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Ram Charan and r’s Peddi has collected Rs 31.90 crore net in India on its day 4. The film also witnessed a rise of 10.6 per cent compared to its previous day collection. The film’s domestic net total is Rs 157.15 crore, while the India gross stands at Rs 187.02 crore. The film’s worldwide collection has now reached Rs 233.02 crore. On the other hand, the overseas collection stands at Rs 46 crore.

Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai Box Office collection

Varun Dhawan starrer Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai opened in theatres with Rs 7.50 crore, and added another Rs 7.25 crore on its second day. On its first Sunday, the movie witnessed a 20 per cent growth compared to its previous day and raked in Rs 9 crore on its third day. The film’s net collection has now reached Rs 24 crore, while the total India gross stands at Rs 28.80 crore. While the film’s worldwide collection now stands at Rs 37.30 crore, the overseas collection has reached Rs 8.50 crore.

Bandar Box Office collection

Despite receiving rave reviews from critics and audiences, Bandar starring Bobby Deol, has only minted Rs 50 lakh on its opening day and Rs 95 lakh on its second day. According to Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 1 crore on Day 3, bringing the total collection to Rs 2.45 crore.

Obsession Box Office collection

Curry Baker’s Obsession has become a breakout horror hit to cross USD 200 million globally. The film’s domestic collection stands at USD 151 million. However, on its fourth weekend, the film saw a seven per cent drop in its earnings, collecting USD 25.6 million.

Backrooms Box Office collection

Another Hollywood horror flick, Backrooms, has been appreciated for its storytelling and scare jumps. The film has been running successfully in theatres and has minted USD 212.6 million worldwide.
