CM Dhami held a broom, gave such a message under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign that it was praised on social media.
A new style of Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is going viral on social media. Suddenly, in the famous Purnagiri temple complex of Khatima, Chief Minister Dhami himself took up the broom and started cleaning the entire complex. The occasion was the completion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s successful 12 years in the role of Chief Minister and Prime Minister. To make this special occasion memorable, CM Dhami not only launched a cleanliness campaign but also made a very emotional appeal to save the environment.
Cleaning and Planting Saplings
During this period, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also planted saplings in the temple premises under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign. He dug the soil with his own hands and planted the sapling and watered it. Seeing the Chief Minister working on the ground like this, the people and devotees present there were also inspired to join this campaign.
Public Participation Essential for Change
On this special occasion, Chief Minister Dhami made a big appeal to all the people of the state. He said that building a clean and healthy Uttarakhand cannot depend only on the government. For this, all citizens will have to come forward and take a pledge to keep their house, locality and surrounding areas clean.
“Sanitation and environmental protection can be successful only when there is full support of the public. Unless every citizen considers it as their responsibility, it cannot become a big mass movement,” said Pushkar Singh Dhami, Chief Minister.
Protecting Nature for the Future
Emphasizing on saving the environment, the CM said that in today’s time it is most important to save nature. Therefore, every person should plant at least one sapling in the name of his mother and also take care of it.
