Petrol diesel price today: New rates of petrol and diesel released amid 4% fall in crude oil, check the price in your city.

A significant decline in crude oil prices was recorded in the international market on Monday morning, following reports of a historic peace agreement between America and Iran. Brent crude fell by approximately 4 percent, though Indian oil companies have yet to pass any savings on to consumers. Fuel prices across the country have remained unchanged since May 25.
Why is crude oil becoming cheaper?
Large-scale selling has continued in crude oil prices throughout the international market over the past week and into this week. The primary driver is the recent reconciliation developments in West Asia, which have eased tensions that previously drove prices upward.
Following the start of the Iran conflict, crude oil prices surged by up to 50 percent, but that spike now appears to be subsiding. On Monday morning, Brent crude fell 4.03 percent to $83.81 per barrel, down from $87.33 the previous week. WTI crude also declined, trading at $80.91 per barrel with a 4.68 percent slip.

Current fuel prices across major cities
Despite the global decline in crude oil, petrol and diesel prices remain stable across India’s major cities. In Delhi, petrol is selling at Rs 102.12 per liter and diesel at Rs 95.20 per liter. Mumbai shows higher prices, with petrol at Rs 111.21 and diesel at Rs 97.83 per liter.

Check prices via SMS
Consumers can receive fuel price updates directly through SMS from their respective oil suppliers. Indian Oil (IOC) customers should type RSP and message it to 9224992249. Bharat Petroleum (BPCL) customers can send a message to 9223112222, while Hindustan Petroleum (HPCL) customers should type HPPRICE and send it to 9222201122.
Remember to include your city code with your message, which can be easily found on the official websites of these oil companies.
Will consumers see relief?
International crude oil prices directly influence the Indian fuel market. If the current downward trend in crude prices continues, the losses incurred by government oil companies should decrease.
As the deficit shrinks, there is potential for petrol and diesel prices to decline in the coming days. This could finally bring relief to consumers who have seen stable prices since late May.
