In this encounter, the police retaliated and shot one of the vicious accused in the leg, while his other accomplice was surrounded and caught on the spot. According to the information, Sipri Bazar police station had received strong input from the informer that the main accused in the Gaurishankar murder case was hiding in a deserted area near Simardha village and was planning to escape from the city. As soon as the information was received, the police team reached the spot with heavy force and started siege. Seeing the police coming closer, the miscreants found themselves surrounded and instead of surrendering, they started firing bullets at the police team itself.

After the firing by the miscreants, the police also immediately took charge and retaliated in self-defense. The bullet fired by the police directly hit the leg of the vicious accused Chingara, due to which he fell there. During this time, the police also arrested his other associate Sher Singh from the spot. Police have recovered a heavy chapad (sharp weapon) used in the massacre, two illegal pistols and several live cartridges from the encounter site.

Giving information about the case, Jhansi SP City Preeti Singh said that the police was very serious about this high-profile murder case. Event Within just 24 hours, the police took command and arrested a total of four accused including the main conspirator (mastermind) and hotel owner Anand Yadav. The accused Chingara, who was injured by a bullet in his leg, was immediately admitted to the nearby hospital, where he is undergoing treatment in police custody. Police say that criminals who disturb law and order in the city will not be spared at any cost.
