Prices have increased 4 times in the last month
Because of this the whole world is facing oil crisis. After the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, 20 percent of the world’s crude oil supply has been affected. This sea route is even more important for India. Because the largest part of the oil imported comes through this route. When the supply chain was closed, an increase in the prices of petrol and diesel was seen in India. In the last month, petroleum companies have increased prices 4 times. However, there has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel after May 25.

Tension reduced between America and Iran
There was a big fall in the prices of crude oil on Friday. Oil prices fell below $90 per barrel due to the US-Iran tension easing and global oil supply normalizing again. US President Donald Trump said that an agreement has been drafted between America and Iran and the war is nearing an end. Trump also said that he hopes that the agreement between the two countries will be signed in the coming days. He also claimed that the agreement will be reopened after its finalization, which will provide relief to global oil supply.
