Husband returned at midnight, saw the phone in wife’s hand and asked – Who are you talking to? then killed him
Gurugram News: A very sensational and heart-wrenching incident has come to light from IMT Manesar area of Cyber City Gurugram. In Bans Aliyar village here, due to doubt about her character, a husband brutally murdered his own wife. The incident was carried out when the accused saw his wife talking to someone on the phone at midnight. The police have arrested the accused and have started investigating the case.
According to the police, the accused has been identified as 37-year-old Narendra Singh, while the deceased was his 36-year-old wife Kajal Devi. The couple are basically laborers and were living with their four children in a rented room in Bans Aliyar village of IMT Manesar. When this horrific incident was carried out on Wednesday night, all four children of the couple were sleeping on the terrace of the house. They didn’t even notice the bloody tragedy happening below.
Controversy often arose due to doubts about character.
Investigation has revealed that both Narendra and Kajal used to work as laborers in a private company. As usual, Kajal used to return home after finishing her work by 8 pm, whereas Narendra often reached home at midnight. Accused Narendra used to doubt his wife’s character, due to which there used to be fights between the two on regular basis.
When he refused to give me the phone, he strangulated me with a scarf.
When Narendra returned home from work at midnight on Wednesday, he saw Kajal talking to someone on the phone. He suspected that Kajal was talking to another man. Furious, Narendra immediately asked Kajal for her phone, but Kajal flatly refused to give him the phone. After this a heated argument started between the two. In the blindness of anger and suspicion, Narendra picked up a scarf kept nearby and tied it around Kajal’s neck. Wrapped him and pulled him until his breathing stopped. After killing the wife, the accused fled from the spot.
Case registered and accused arrested
As soon as information about the incident was received, IMT Manesar police station took immediate action on the complaint of the deceased’s sister. The police have registered an FIR against the accused Narendra under serious sections of murder and arrested him. Gurugram Police officials said that post-mortem of the dead body of Kajal has been done and it has been handed over to the family for last rites. The police is preparing to present the accused Narendra in the court and take him on remand.
