India’s star all-rounder Deepti Sharma made many big records while bowling brilliantly against Pakistan in the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 played at Edgbaston, Birmingham. Batting first, India scored a strong score of 170/6, after which the ‘Women in Blue’ trapped the Pakistani team with their spin bowling and won by 64 runs. India made a great start to its campaign by defeating Pakistan for the seventh time in the Women’s T20 World Cup.

Deepti played a key role in this 64-run win, as she took five wickets in her four overs with figures of 5/10. He destroyed the Pakistan team with his spin bowling and during this period also made many records in his name. Deepti has become the first Indian to take multiple five-wicket hauls in Women’s T20I and the sixth player to do so in full-member teams.
