Greater Noida News: A major negligence of the builder has come to light on Saturday evening in Arihant Amber Society located in Greater Noida West (Greno West), Uttar Pradesh. Here one person lost his life due to poor construction. A large part of plaster suddenly broke from a building of the society and fell on the head of a resident standing below. He was seriously injured in this tragic accident. He was immediately taken to a nearby private hospital, where doctors declared him dead during treatment. As soon as the news of death was heard, there was an uproar among the family members and hundreds of residents of the society got angry.
According to the information, the deceased has been identified as Vikas Chawla, who lived in flat number 1560 of Tower-B of Arihant Amber Society. As soon as information about the accident was received, there was huge anger among the people of the society. The condition of the residents is crying bitterly and they allege that the houses for which people have spent their entire hard-earned money to buy them, are now becoming a threat to their lives.

People living in the society allege that this is not the first case. Even before this, incidents of plaster falling from the building have come to light many times. Residents had complained about this to the builder management several times, but no concrete action was taken by the management in time. Residents say that if the builder had got the repairs done on time and had shown even a little seriousness about safety, Vikas Chawla’s life could have been saved today. After this accident, people have raised questions on the poor quality of construction and demanded strictest action against the builder.

Got possession of the flat in 2019, depending on the quality questions arising continuously
Society people told that there are a total of four towers in Arihant Amber Society, in which about 628 flats are built. The possession of the flat was given to the residents by the builder in the year 2019. Since getting the possession, the residents have been continuously raising their voice regarding the poor quality of construction and poor maintenance. It is being told that in the year 2023, the Apartment Owners Association (AOA) had also approached RERA against the builder after taking the handover of the society. After this, the repair work was started by the builder, but residents say that this work was completely stopped for the last several months.
A mountain of sorrow fell on the family, police engaged in investigation
After the untimely death of Vikas Chawla, a mountain of sorrow has fallen on his smiling family. At the same time, the people of the society are extremely angry and scared by this incident. The residents have demanded the administration to conduct a technical investigation into the construction of the entire society and take strict action against those responsible. Regarding the matter, Munendra Singh, in-charge of Bisarkh police station, says that the police is investigating the incident closely. Talks are being held with the family members and as soon as Tahrir (written complaint) is received from them, strict legal action will be taken by registering a case against the builder under relevant sections.
