Pakistan Air Force plane crashes in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, two pilots die tragically.

A trainer aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force crashed during a routine training flight near Mardan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday, killing both pilots on board, the army said. According to officials, the plane fell on Katlong Road and both crew members lost their lives in the incident.

Pilots Identified

The pilots have been identified as Flight Lieutenant Muhammad Qasim Abdullah of the Pakistan Air Force and Lieutenant Taha Abbasi of the Pakistan Navy. Two civilians who were passing through the area at the time were also injured in the accident and were taken to Mardan Medical Complex for treatment.

Investigation Underway

Officials said that the Air Headquarters has formed an investigation board to determine the cause of the accident. Other information, including the type of aircraft, has not been officially released yet.

Condolences from Leadership

Field Marshal Asim Munir, along with the Service Chiefs and armed forces personnel of Pakistan, expressed grief over the loss of lives and conveyed condolences to the families of the deceased. The aircraft was on a routine training mission when the accident occurred.
