Clash in SP’s PDA conference over Ruchi Veera’s poster missing, MP gave sharp reaction

Mayank Trigun, Moradabad. The political tussle within the Samajwadi Party (SP) has once again come to the fore in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. There was a huge uproar in SP’s ‘PDA (Backward, Dalit, Minority) Conference’ organized in the city when the picture of local MP Ruchi Veera was found missing from the main posters and hoardings of the program.

Angered by this, the workers of the MP group created a ruckus in the program. The controversy escalated so much that MP Ruchi Veera herself distanced herself from the entire conference. After the big victory in the Lok Sabha elections, this battle for supremacy in Moradabad SP has now come on the streets.

Party Leaders Prepare Conference

In fact, the outline of this mandal level PDA conference was prepared in Moradabad in the presence of senior SP leaders. The aim was to instill new enthusiasm among the workers, but the opposite happened.

As soon as the workers saw that the photo of Moradabad’s sitting MP Ruchi Veera was missing from the big posters put up on the stage of the program and around, whispers and resentment started in the pandal. Within no time, the MP supporters present at the venue got angry and opened a front against the organisers.

Uproar in Moradabad SP Over Photo Missing From Poster

Factionalism within Moradabad SP is not a new thing, but this time the matter was related to the honor of the sitting MP. According to local people and party workers, big photographs of party national president Akhilesh Yadav and other senior leaders were displayed in the posters of the conference, but no one was happy with the local MP not getting a place.

MP supporters allege that some local leaders of the party are deliberately harassing Ruchi Veera. The result of this tussle was that the MP’s chair remained vacant in this big conference.

MP Ruchi Veera Gives Sharp Reaction

When the controversy over this entire matter escalated, MP Ruchi Veera also openly expressed her displeasure and retaliated sharply. While talking to the media, she did not take the name of any leader, but bitterness was clearly visible in her words.

Ruchi Veera said bluntly, “I was not given any official information about this program. There was no point in going there when I neither received an invitation nor was told the outline of the program.”

After this statement of the MP, the ears of the SP high command from Moradabad to Lucknow are on edge. In fact, Ruchi Veera is considered very close to Akhilesh Yadav, and there was huge drama in Moradabad at the time of ticket distribution.

Now it is clear from the attitude of the MP that she is in no mood to tolerate any attempt to undermine herself in the politics of the district.
