Big bang in Siwan as Samrat Chaudhary becomes Chief Minister of Bihar — ₹415 crore development gift announced
Bihar’s new Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary is set to make his first official visit to Siwan on June 16, 2026 — and he is arriving with a massive development package. The entire district is buzzing with excitement as CM Chaudhary prepares to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of 44 schemes worth more than Rs 415 crore in a single day.
Papour Panchayat to receive CM’s first official step in Siwan
Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary will enter Papour Panchayat of Pachrukhi block as his first official stop in Siwan after taking charge as CM. District administration, local leaders, and public representatives are all working round the clock to make the VVIP visit a success. Every detail — from security arrangements to pandal setup — is being rehearsed and monitored closely.
The scale of the security operation has effectively turned Papour Panchayat into a cantonment zone. Senior officers from the Patna headquarters are camped at the venue, and leaders from multiple political parties have been visiting regularly to review preparations.
44 schemes, ₹415 crore — Siwan’s biggest development push
According to the district administration, CM Chaudhary will hand over a total of 44 development schemes worth Rs 415.18 crore to the people of Siwan. Of these, 18 brand new schemes costing Rs 178.38 crore will have their foundation stones laid on the day. The remaining 26 schemes worth Rs 236.80 crore — already completed — will be formally inaugurated and dedicated to the public.
Economic and administrative experts believe this package will give a significant boost to Siwan’s infrastructure, local employment, rural development, and public services — marking this visit as a milestone in the district’s history.
CM to inspect 20 government department stalls before public meeting
Before taking the stage at the main public rally, CM Chaudhary will walk through hi-tech stalls set up by 20 government departments at the venue. The stalls are designed to spread awareness about key public welfare schemes and the government’s achievements directly among ordinary citizens.
Departments present at the venue include Jeevika Group, Health, Agriculture, Panchayati Raj, Education, Energy, Transport, Social Welfare, District Industries Centre, Sports, Forest, Cooperative, and Urban Development and Housing — among others. The CM will personally assess ground-level implementation through these stalls.
‘Sabka Samman – Jeevan Aasan’ camp: grievances resolved on the spot
Chief Minister Chaudhary will also attend the special Sabka Samman – Jeevan Aasan cooperation camp being organized at Papour Panchayat. The camp is designed to resolve everyday public grievances quickly and permanently. Senior government officials will be seated live at the venue, listening to complaints and addressing them on the spot — without the public having to run from office to office.
This initiative runs under Bihar Government’s ambitious Saat Nishchay-3 program. Under this scheme, such cooperation camps are held at the Panchayat level on the first and third Tuesday of every month, ensuring regular access to administration for village residents.
Big public rally — new development roadmap for Bihar on the cards
The highlight of the day will be a large public meeting where CM Samrat Chaudhary will directly address the people of Siwan. He is expected to outline the key achievements of his government so far and present a fresh, forward-looking roadmap for the development of Siwan and Bihar as a whole.
