GTA 6 Netflix premiere time in India
Rockstar’s official press statement said, “Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look will premiere on Netflix Thursday, August 27 at 3 p.m. ET and will also launch on the official Rockstar Games YouTube channel and the Grand Theft Auto VI site at 9 p.m. ET on August 27.”
The India timings are:
- Netflix premiere at 12.30 am IST on August 28
- YouTube and GTA 6 website release at 6.30 am IST on August 28
Netflix described the release as a “first-of-its-kind partnership” involving an extended look at the next GTA game.
What the new GTA 6 footage may show
GTA 6 follows Jason and Lucia in Vice City and the wider state of Leonida. The story begins after a planned robbery goes wrong and pulls the pair into a larger conspiracy.
Rockstar has described the launch version as “a single-player experience set in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the series yet.” It has not shared details about a GTA Online successor.
The standard edition is priced at $79.99, or ₹5,999. The Ultimate Edition costs $99.99, or ₹7,499, and includes extra vehicles, weapons, clothing and other in-game items.
The Netflix-first release is unusual for a major game reveal. Players who prefer YouTube will need to avoid social media spoilers for about six hours, which may be the hardest mission of the night.
