Gandhinagar/New Delhi: Once again a very good news has come for crores of food donors of the country. The money for the next installment is going to be transferred to the accounts of the farmers waiting for the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan) very soon. On June 20, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release direct financial assistance (direct cash transfer) worth more than ₹ 18,880 crore to more than 9.44 crore farmers of the country in a grand program organized in Hooghly, West Bengal. To make this special occasion memorable, the Gujarat government has taken a big decision. This historic day will be celebrated with great pomp in Gujarat as ‘PM Kisan Utsav Diwas’. With this step of the government, more than 51.28 lakh farmers of Gujarat are going to get direct financial assistance of more than Rs 1,025 crore under this new 23rd installment of PM-Kisan scheme.

According to information received from official sources, as soon as this installment is released, a huge amount of more than Rs 18,880 crore will be sent directly to the accounts of farmers across the country. This entire fund will reach the pockets of more than 9.44 crore farmer families spread across India without any delay through Direct Benefit Transfer i.e. DBT technology. Money will come directly into bank account, PM Modi will come live and talk to farmers The best thing about this welfare scheme of the government is that the money of this installment will be deposited directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries with complete transparency, without any middleman or intermediary. Talking about Gujarat, the main program of the state level 'PM Kisan Utsav Diwas' will be organized in the grand town hall of Gandhinagar under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, which will be held this month. Will show successful implementation of the plan. State Agriculture Minister Jitu Vaghani and State Minister Ramesh Katara will also be specially present on this occasion.

On the other hand, under the national program, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release this installment from the soil of West Bengal by addressing the beneficiaries across the country through digital medium. Along with this, PM Modi will also talk directly to selected progressive farmers across the country through online video conferencing.

Till now more than 11 crore farmers have got bumper benefits

If we look at the government figures, since the beginning of the PM-Kisan scheme, 22 installments have been successfully sent to the accounts of the farmers of the country. Through this scheme, a total cumulative assistance amount of more than Rs 4.28 lakh crore has been given so far to more than 11 crore farmers across India. If we talk only about the state of Gujarat, then under this scheme till now more than 69 lakh lucky farmer families have received a huge amount of more than Rs 23,083 crore. There will be live telecast in every village, the government has made special preparations The Gujarat government has made very concrete and coordinated arrangements across the state to ensure wide participation of the general public and farmers in this big program. This entire program of the Prime Minister and his address will be shown live in all the Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs), local mandis, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samridhi Kendras and Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) of the state.

Apart from this, for the convenience of farmers living in remote areas, special facilities have also been created at district, taluka and grassroots village level. Programs have been organized so that every farmer can easily see and hear this address of the Prime Minister.
