Today’s Breaking News LIVE Updates, November 8, 2026: The mortal remains of anti-drug activist Parvinder Singh Jhota were brought to his residence in Mansa from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. Jhota was shot dead in Mansa on 13 October. Following the incident, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) re-registered the murder case and launched a probe into the killing.
