New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan turns 61 today, November 2. Born in 1965, the actor continues to top the list of India’s richest actors, even though his estimated wealth has dipped sharply over the past year. The Hurun India Rich List 2026, released in September, values him at Rs 10,000 crore, which keeps him ahead of Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan.

In the 2025 edition of the Hurun India Rich List, Khan’s net worth stood at Rs 12,490 crore. The latest figure is therefore Rs 2,490 crore lower than it was a year ago.

His wealth does not come from films alone. It also covers his business interests, mainly the production house Red Chillies Entertainment, and his link with the Kolkata Knight Riders through Knight Riders Sports.

These figures are only estimates and can shift depending on how private companies, investments and other assets are valued. Earlier this year, the Hurun Global Rich List had put his wealth at Rs 10,800 crore.

Pictures of the landmark carrying the film’s poster have gone viral, with fans saying the city is now in KING mode.

King is an action-thriller directed by Siddharth Anand. It holds special meaning for his fans because it marks his return to the big screen after three years. The actor was last seen in Dunki, which was released in theatres in 2023.
