News Updates, November 07, 2026: The Election Commission has offered voters excluded from draft electoral rolls during the Special Intensive Revision in seven states another opportunity to enrol. These include electors marked absent, shifted, dead or duplicate whose enumeration forms were not returned. Officials must monitor inclusion while preventing duplicate registrations. Previously enrolled voters missing from draft rolls can submit Form 6 without fearing prosecution merely because they were registered earlier. Such applications will not constitute false declarations on that ground. However, applicants must not already be enrolled in another constituency. The Commission directed officials to ensure no eligible voter loses the opportunity for inclusion.
