Prime Minister Narendra Modi today (Friday) addressed a grand youth conference organized at Vigyan Bhawan in the country's capital Delhi. On this special occasion, making a big splash under 'Vikas Bharat Rojgar Yojana', PM Modi transferred incentive amount of Rs 2 thousand 400 crore directly into the bank accounts of 15 lakh youth of the country. During this, the Prime Minister also interacted directly with the youth from every corner of the country and encouraged them. Addressing the program, PM Modi said that today I can see a clear picture of the bright future of India on the faces of the youth present in this program. Referring to his foreign tour, he said that I have just returned a few hours ago from a trip to France and Slovakia, where I met the senior leaders of the most developed countries of the world at the G-7 Summit. Today the whole world is recognizing India's youth power, its talent, skills and potential and it is being discussed far and wide. PM Modi said that it is the effort of our government that every youth of the country gets full opportunity to show his potential and with this thinking, 'PM Vikas Bharat Rozgar Yojana' has been started. This scheme is giving a new flight to the dreams of the youth who get their first job and is working as a strong bridge between the companies and the youth.
Till now 70 lakh youth have got employment and social security cover. Prime Minister Narendra Modi while telling statistics to the youth from the stage Said that with the help of 'Pradhanmantri Vikas Bharat Rojgar Mela Yojana', so far about 70 lakh new employment opportunities have been created in the country. Along with this, these 70 lakh youth who got jobs for the first time have also got a strong security cover of social security. It is a matter of relief that about 20 lakh youth of the country have successfully completed 6 months of their first job. Today, about 10 lakh of these hardworking youth have been given bumper incentives under this scheme to mark the completion of 6 months of their first job.
