Vishwakhabram: The new incarnation of BrahMos will create a stir all over the world, India also made indigenous warhead after the booster.

The friendship between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin is continuously showing such wonders which has taken India's combat capability to new heights and has started changing the strategic balance of Asia and entire South Asia. Now India and Russia have also intensified work on smaller and hypersonic versions of BrahMos missile, due to which the fire power of the Indian Army is going to be many times more lethal in the coming times. Meanwhile, with the construction of the hundredth indigenous booster, India has given a clear message to the world that now it is moving rapidly on the path of becoming a superpower that decides the direction of war.

Let us tell you that BrahMos Aerospace and Solar Industries Defense and Aerospace Limited have taken India's defense self-reliance campaign to a turning point by preparing the hundredth indigenous booster. This is the same booster that gives the missile speed, balance and lethal attack power. Earlier India had to depend on Russia for this, but after technology transfer, India not only assimilated this technology but also increased the production capacity at an explosive pace. Whereas initially only one booster was made a month, now about sixty boosters are being made every month. This change is indicative not only of production but of the change in India's military mentality.

According to Satyanarayan Nuwal, President of Solar Industries, the company can now easily produce about 150 boosters every year. This clearly means that in the coming time, India will have a huge stock of BrahMos missiles and in case of war, the enemy will not have time to react. The most important thing is that Now the next target is complete indigenization of BrahMos warhead. This is the part that destroys the target. The company has developed it and sent it for testing. If approval is given in the next few weeks, India will start production of completely indigenous BrahMos warhead.

The strategic importance of this step is very deep. The biggest weakness of any country during war is its dependence on foreign weapons and spare parts. If the supply stops, the entire army system may come to a standstill. India is now breaking this trap. Indigenization of both the booster and warhead of BrahMos will ensure that India's firepower cannot be affected by external pressure in any crisis. This self-reliance will not only make India safer, but will also turn it into an arms exporting superpower.

Let us also tell you that after Philippines, now Vietnam is also moving rapidly towards purchasing BrahMos. Talks are going on with many countries in the eastern and western world. Its direct message goes to China. From the South China Sea to the Indian Ocean, India is now becoming a decisive pillar of strategic balance. Countries which are threatened by China's aggression are now looking towards India as a security partner.

The most surprising thing is that Russia has also shown interest in purchasing BrahMos missile. This is the same Russia with whom this project was started. But today the situation is such that Russia is also feeling the need of Indian-made BrahMos. This change shows that India is no longer just a partner but has reached an equal position in technology and production capacity. Meanwhile, India and Russia are working on smaller and hypersonic versions of the BrahMos. The work has been expedited. This could change the picture of future wars. The next generation version of BrahMos will be lighter and more lethal. Fighter aircraft like Tejas MK1A, Tejas MK2 and future AMCA will be able to carry it with multiple missiles simultaneously. This means that the Indian Air Force will have the capability to destroy multiple enemy targets in a single mission.

But the real fear will be created by hypersonic BrahMos. This missile will attack at a speed five times the speed of sound. It is considered almost impossible to stop such a high-speed missile. If India acquires this capability then the air defense systems of both China and Pakistan will become redundant. The enemy won't even get a chance to react. This will not be just a weapon, but a tool of psychological dominance which will break the morale of the opponent even before the war starts.

Let us tell you that the biggest strength of BrahMos is its multi-dimensional capability. It can attack from land, sea, submarine and air. In 2017, India acquired the strategic cruise missile Trishakti after its successful test from Sukhoi Tis MKI. Now the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force all three have a common weapon which can attack like lightning on any front. If seen, today BrahMos is not just a missile but has become a symbol of the military consciousness of the new India. This is the identity of that India which no longer waits for the enemy to attack, but when necessary makes its land tremble. At the same time, the BrahMos system for which there was once heavy dependence on Russia, today the same missile has become the fastest and most lethal symbol of India's military power. The world had seen that after the Pahalgam terrorist attack, The way BrahMos demonstrated its firepower in Operation Sindoor, it had sent shivers down the spines of the enemies.

However, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has warned in clear words that during war, supply chains can break at any time and in such a situation, only the country can survive which has developed within itself every important military and industrial capability it needs. This is why India is now making self-reliant defense production the biggest weapon of national security. Laying the foundation stone of the state-of-the-art ten thousand tonne capacity Aluminum Extrusion Press Project at the Ordnance Factory complex in Ambazari along with Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Rajnath Singh clearly said that the nation which fulfills its own needs moves forward with confidence. If seen, this is not just an industrial project, but is the foundation of a new India which has prepared to respond to the enemy on the basis of its own factories, its own technology and its own military power, instead of looking towards any foreign power at the time of war. -Neeraj Kumar Dubey
