Hyderabad: At 242 metres, Hyderabad’s newest luxury landmark will be hard to miss. Coming up on 4.5-acre parcel of land along Kokapet’s Golden Mile Road, Trump Towers Hyderabad, eighth Trump-branded project in India and the first in South India, will comprise two 65-storey towers linked by a dramatic bridge in the sky, making it the tallest Trump Tower in India.

The project is also expected to get some Trump family star power, with a member of the Trump family expected to visit Hyderabad for the launch in FY2026-27.

For Kalpesh Mehta, founder of Tribeca Developers, the choice of Hyderabad reflects the city’s growing wealth and increasingly sophisticated luxury market.

“Hyderabad is the Delhi of the South. It has some of the richest Telugus, and it is one of the largest and fastest-growing luxury markets in the country,” Mehta said. “Until today, it has never had a Trump address. This will be photographed for the next 50 years,” he added.

One of the city’s richest families has bought a penthouse at Trump Towers Hyderabad for a staggering Rs 62 crore, making it one of the most eye catching residential transactions in the city’s luxury market, a record for the project and a striking indicator of the spending power at the top end of the city’s property market. The sale is among eight of the 16 penthouses that have already been sold, even as the project is still taking shape at Kokapet’s Golden Mile Road.

The scale of these homes is itself extraordinary. The penthouse that was sold for Rs 62 crore spans between 30,000 sq ft and 33,000 sq ft, compared with approximately 3,600-5,800 sq ft for the regular apartments in the two 65-storey towers.

In another indication of the kind of buyers the project is attracting, one unnamed family has purchased two entire floors in the development. The developers have declined to identify the family, citing privacy.

Developed by Tribeca in partnership with Ira Realty, the project involves a total of investment of around Rs 2,000 crore, excluding land, with the developers expecting a topline of Rs 3,500 crore to Rs 4,500 crore. The development will have around 450 apartments, priced between Rs 5 crore and Rs 10 crore, including 3.5- and 4-BHK homes, double-height simplex residences and penthouses with the total developable area of around 22 lakh sq ft.

But the real drama will be above the ground. The two towers will be joined by a suspended sky bridge, with the Trump Club sitting on the bridge and spanning both structures. The club will offer landscaped spaces and panoramic views of the city. “We have left no stone unturned and spared no expense to bring the absolute best to this city. The two towers are joined in the sky, and the Trump Club sits on that bridge. It is far harder to build than two separate towers. That is exactly why we did it,” Mehta said.

“Every great city has two or three buildings whose photographs are used every single time that city is mentioned. That is the building we intend to give Hyderabad,” he added.

The project is going big on lifestyle too, with more than one lakh sq ft of amenities. The list includes karaoke, a boxing ring, squash courts and ice baths, along with customised banquet halls, wellness and fitness facilities, recreation and entertainment spaces. The towers themselves will feature an all-glass-and-metal façade, rather than conventional plaster-and-paint exteriors. Besides giving the buildings a sharper, contemporary appearance, the developers say the material choice will offer greater durability and longevity.

For Narsi Reddy, founder and managing director of Ira Realty, the project is the culmination of years of assembling land on the Golden Mile. “We assembled this land over many years, and we always knew Golden Mile deserved something the city had never seen before. The question was who to build it with,” Reddy said. “We wanted a brand that needs no introduction anywhere in the world, and a developer who has proven, in city after city in India, that it can deliver at that standard. Tribeca has built more Trump-branded homes than anyone, and every one of those buildings has become the address of its city,” he said.

Hyderabad has grown faster than almost any city in India over the last decade. It has earned a building of this order, and we are proud to be bringing it here, he added. The project comes as Kokapet transforms into one of Hyderabad’s most coveted luxury destinations, driven by its proximity to the Financial District and western IT corridor.
