Ranveer Singh set to resume Pralay shoot next week after two-month paternity break | Exclusive

New Delhi: Actor Ranveer Singh is all set to return to the sets of his upcoming film Pralay later this month after taking a two-month break to spend time with his family following the birth of his second child.

According to sources close to the production, the actor will shoot a short schedule in Mumbai towards the end of October. A source close to the unit told News9 exclusively, “The shooting is from October 27 to 29th and it will be around the Vashi bridge.”

Ranveer had reportedly stepped away from his professional commitments for two months following the arrival of his second baby. The upcoming schedule will mark his return to filming after the paternity break.

The actor had earlier commenced shooting for Pralay in August at a hospital in Thane, near Ghodbunder Road. Directed by Jai Mehta, the film also stars Kalyani Priyadarshan in a key role.

Set against the backdrop of a zombie-infested world, Pralay is said to be an ambitious project for Ranveer, who reportedly opted for the film over Don 3.

Meanwhile, Ranveer’s Dhurandhar – The Revenge was telecast on television last Sunday. With the actor now preparing to resume work on Pralay, the film’s production is expected to move ahead with its next schedule.
