Apple September Event 2026: iPhone 18 Pro, Foldable iPhone, Apple Watch Series 12 expected

New Delhi: Apple is expected to unveil its next generation of premium devices at its annual September launch event, with the spotlight likely to remain on the iPhone lineup. The company hasn’t officially said anything about this event, but industry reports indicate it’s looking forward to announcing several new products.

This year’s launch is expected to focus on high-end hardware, including the iPhone 18 Pro series, Apple’s first foldable iPhone, and new Apple Watch models. Some smart home devices may be delayed until later this year and other devices expected in the near future might be delayed to 2027, reports also state.

iPhone 18 Pro Series Could Bring Camera and Performance Upgrades

As per several reports, the iPhone 18 Pro and the iPhone 18 Pro Max will look more or less like their predecessor, albeit with a smaller Dynamic Island. Both models are likely to be powered by the new A20 Pro chipset, an upgraded LTPO+ OLED, and enhanced battery life.

The Pro models may also have a new wide camera equipped with variable aperture for more control over lighting and depth effects. The iPhone 18 Pro Max may be a little thicker in order to hold a bigger battery. Apple may also raise the prices of its Pro models by $100 to $200, reports also indicate.

Apple’s Foldable iPhone May Finally Debut

Another major expected announcement by Apple is likely to be their first foldable iPhone, though that may not happen until later. The reports also state that the device will have a 5.5-inch outer display and a 7.8-inch inner foldable display which may be iPad-like, with a 4:3 aspect ratio.

The foldable version is supposed to run on a 2nm A20 chipset, but will also use Touch ID instead of Face ID because of the thin nature of the new mobile phone. According to industry estimates, its price is in the range of $2,000 to $2,500.

Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 Also Expected

The Apple Watch Series 12 and the Apple Watch Ultra 4 are expected to be the new smartwatch models from Apple. Both models are expected to get new chips, with enhancements in battery life and health monitoring features, according to reports. The Ultra 4 could also feature some enhanced sensors, but information on that is scarce.

Smart Home Devices May Arrive Later

Some of the reports indicate Apple is working on the following home products – Apple HomePod mini, Apple TV 4K, Apple HomePod, a smart home camera, and a home hub with Siri AI integration. But these devices are expected to be released sometime in the next event later this year or early in 2027.

Expected Event Timeline

Apple typically releases its new products on the 8th or 9th of September, so it’s likely that this event will happen on one of those days. If so, pre-orders may open later this week, with it hitting the retail stores around Sept. 18. The event date is not official yet from Apple.
