Sreesanth’s open challenge to Harbhajan for ring fight, said- do you have the courage?

Former Indian fast bowler Sreesanth has rekindled his old rivalry with Harbhajan Singh. Almost two decades after the famous 'Slapgate' incident of IPL, he has openly challenged the former spinner to a fight in the ring. Speaking in a podcast recently, Sreesanth accused Harbhajan of continuously taking advantage of the controversy and challenged him to resolve their differences in a boxing-style encounter.

This incident took place in a match between Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) and Mumbai Indians, when Harbhajan slapped Sreesanth on the field after the match. The incident sparked widespread outrage and became one of the most controversial moments in IPL history. In the years that followed, it seemed as if both players had moved on. They were seen together at public events, worked together in advertisements and were often seen interacting well. Harbhajan also apologized several times and expressed regret for his behavior in front of everyone.

However, it seems their relationship has soured again. The reason for this is said to be a recent advertisement of Harbhajan, in which he made fun of that infamous incident without taking the name of Sreesanth. Sreesanth told that he has once again broken relations with Harbhajan and has blocked him. He alleged that Harbhajan was taking advantage of a painful period in his life. He also alleged that Harbhajan earned around ₹1 crore from that advertisement.

This war of words started again when Sreesanth objected to a recent advertisement featuring Harbhajan; They think it was a reference to the infamous 'Slapgate' incident. wearing boxing attire and standing face to face Pointing to an old promotional picture of the two players, Sreesanth questioned whether Harbhajan would be ready to face him in a real fight.

Sreesanth asked Lallantop, do you have the courage to repeat the same scene? Do you have the courage to come into the ring with me? Can you come and sign? I am asking him. Do you have the courage to come into the ring with me? Wearing these gloves? This is not acting. I am smiling. You're not even smiling, I don't know what you're doing. Let's see. This is an open challenge.
