MSME Success Journey Showcased at Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav 2026
Bengaluru : The state is showcasing its vibrant MSME ecosystem, traditional craftsmanship and emerging business opportunities at Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav (BVM) 2026, with a dedicated pavilion highlighting indigenous products, modern enterprise platforms and investment potential.
The four-day showcase brings together traditional artisans, district-specific products, modern manufacturers, emerging entrepreneurs and technology-enabled businesses. It aims to demonstrate how traditional skills and local enterprises are being connected with contemporary markets and new-age business opportunities.
Dipak Barman, Minister-in-Charge, Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Textiles of West Bengal inaugurated the pavilion. He highlighted the government’s efforts to use digital platforms and new-age initiatives to make entrepreneurship more accessible and strengthen ease of doing business.
The initiatives are aimed at helping enterprises improve access to markets, finance, technology, information and government support while creating opportunities for them to scale up.
The pavilion also seeks to present the state’s combination of heritage and innovation, craftsmanship and technology, grassroots enterprise and global business ambitions. It is expected to provide a platform for interactions between entrepreneurs, investors, buyers, industry representatives and policymakers from across India and abroad.
Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav 2026 is positioned as a national platform connecting traders, MSMEs, manufacturers, industry leaders, institutions and policymakers. Supported by the Government of India, the event brings together more than 20 Central ministries, states and Union Territories.
The event is projected to feature more than 1,000 exhibitors, 2 lakh business delegates, 5,000 international delegates and 500 trade associations, besides providing access to over 10 lakh customers. The organisers expect the platform to create significant opportunities for business networking, market discovery and enterprise-to-market engagement.
