Sense International opens Sparsh in Hyd
Hyderabad: Sense International India, a national organisation exclusively supporting persons with deafblindness and multiple disabilities, inaugurated ‘Sparsh’ Centre for Persons with Deafblindness and Multiple Disabilities in Hyderabad.

Supported by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), Sparsh will be providing comprehensive, specialised services to children and adults with deafblindness and multiple disabilities. Uttam Kumar, CEO, Sense International India, said:“Timely and specialised support can make a significant difference in the life of a child or adult with deafblindness and multiple disabilities.
Through Sparsh, we hope to ensure that families in Hyderabad have a place where they can access the right services, guidance and support under one roof. Our aim is to help every individual we work with communicate, learn and live with independence and dignity.”
The centre will provide screening and assessment, early intervention, special education, home-based intervention, vision and speech therapy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, orientation and mobility training, and counselling for parents and caregivers.
