KSRTC deploys 90 extra buses for Onam travel
Bengaluru: Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation has arranged ninety additional special buses to assist passengers heading from Bengaluru to different parts of Kerala during the Onam festival. The move aims to manage the heavy crowding typical of the festive period and to offer greater convenience to travellers. Special services will operate from Kempegowda Bus Station at Majestic, the Satellite Bus Station on Mysuru Road and Shantinagar Bus Station to key destinations that include Kannur, Kochi, Ernakulam, Palakkad, Thrissur and Thiruvananthapuram.

Luxury multi-axle Volvo coaches, EV Power Plus vehicles, sleeper buses and Rajahamsa units have been assigned to
the special operation.
Passengers may reserve tickets in advance through the corporation’s official website, a facility introduced to prevent last-minute congestion.
Regular-bus tickets are already filling rapidly, so the corporation has urged the public to examine the extra-bus schedules and route particulars on the website and to utilise the available capacity.
