Vijay Deverakonda confirms no ticket price hikes for his films from here on

Actor Vijay Deverakonda has taken sides on a topic that is always on the minds of movie buffs, that his films will not see hike in ticket prices in the future, if decision remains in his hand.

While promoting Ranabaali recently, Vijay had said that he will ensure his films are affordable to common people. But he made an unexpected exception and noted that he would take an exception to this rule, if he collabed with ace director SS Rajamouli.

The actor further added that the hike in ticket prices has impacted the footfalls in theatres in the years. With his decision of not hiking prices, Vijay’s upcoming films might witness higher numbers of viewers.

Ranabaali, on the other hand, marks the return of Vijay Deverakonda and director Rahul Sankrityan after their successful collaboration Taxiwaala. The period action drama also stars Rashmika Mandanna in the lead and has been produced by Mythri Movie Makers.

Vijay’s decision on ticket prices has drawn attention from many movie lovers as it will impact the footfalls at the theatres, where costs play a significant role.
