Shah Rukh Khan unveils ‘Tu Mil Jaaye’ from ‘KING’

A birthday celebration turned into a special treat for Shah Rukh Khan’s fans as the superstar unveiled ‘Tu Mil Jaaye’, the first song from his upcoming action entertainer ‘KING’. Bringing together romance, music and action, the song offers a glimpse into the film’s world while reuniting Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, one of Bollywood’s much-loved on-screen pairs.

Adding to the excitement is an unusual musical collaboration featuring Arijit Singh’s soulful vocals and global pop sensation Ed Sheeran’s distinctive rap. Madhubanti Bagchi also lends her voice to the track, creating an interesting blend of musical styles.

The music video opens with Shah Rukh Khan introducing his character through the dialogue, “Main qaatil nahi, aashiq hoon, aur nishana meri mashooka, aur woh aashiq hi kya jo dil cheer na de.” The powerful lines set the mood before the song transitions into an energetic romantic dance number. The combination of Arijit’s vocals and Ed Sheeran’s rap gives the track an international flavour.

Beyond its musical appeal, ‘Tu Mil Jaaye’ offers a glimpse into the different shades of ‘KING’. Blending romance, action and dehshat, the video introduces audiences to the intensity and larger-than-life atmosphere of the film. Shah Rukh Khan’s screen presence, stylish action sequences and romantic moments with Deepika add to its appeal.

Composed by Sachin-Jigar, the song features lyrics by Kumaar, while Ed Sheeran has penned the English rap. Choreographed by Piyush-Shazia, the track combines energetic dance movements with grand visuals. The video concludes with another striking dialogue from Shah Rukh Khan: “Iss baar dil mein aag lagi hai, ab duniya jalaye bina manega nahi.”
