Para Sports Association urges Telangana to issue Deepthi Jeevanji’s appointment order

Hyderabad: Gadipally Prasanth, general secretary of the Para Sports Association of Telangana, has appealed to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, the State Sports Minister, and the Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of the Sports Authority of Telangana to intervene immediately and ensure the prompt issuance of Group-II appointment orders to international athlete Deepthi Jeevanji.

Prasanth urged the government to translate its commitment into concrete action, eliminate unnecessary administrative delays and issue the promised appointment order without further delay.

“Recognising Deepthi’s extraordinary achievements at the international level is not merely a matter of honouring one athlete; it is also a powerful message of encouragement to para-athletes across Telangana who aspire to represent the country,” he said.

“The government must act decisively and fulfil its promise by issuing her appointment order at the earliest. Justice delayed in recognising sporting excellence risks weakening the confidence of deserving athletes who look to the government for support and encouragement,” Prasanth said.
