Maharashtra man chased, run over and beaten to death on busy road; attack caught on CCTV

New Delhi: A man was beaten to death in broad daylight in Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on Thursday after a car allegedly rammed his scooter and he was attacked with a hockey stick and an iron rod. The incident took place near Bajrang Chowk in the N-7 area of CIDCO, a busy part of the city.

The victim, Devesh Dixit, also known as Bunty, was returning from the gym when the attack took place. According to details reported from the scene, Pawan Parashar allegedly hit Dixit’s scooter from behind with his car, throwing him onto the road.

Parashar then allegedly struck Dixit on the head and face with a hockey stick and an iron rod. Dixit died at the scene. The attack was reportedly captured on CCTV and the footage is expected to be relevant to the police investigation.
