Kritik-Gaurav, Nupur-Stebin and more: Newlyweds who are set to celebrate their first Karwa Chauth
New Delhi: Karwa Chauth 2026 is approaching, and several celebrity couples who tied the knot earlier this year could experience the festival for the first time as married couples. Among them are actor Kritika Kamra and sports presenter Gaurav Kapur, Arjun Tendulkar and Saaniya Chandhok, and actor Nupur Sanon and singer Stebin Ben.
Karwa Chauth will be observed on Thursday, October 29, this year. Traditionally celebrated by married women in several North Indian communities, Karwa Chauth involves fasting, evening prayers and moon worship. However, whether the newly married celebrities will observe the fast this year remains unconfirmed.
Kritika Kamra and Gaurav Kapur
Actor Kritika Kamra and sports presenter Gaurav Kapur got married in an intimate ceremony at their Mumbai home on March 11, 2026. The couple opted for a private wedding attended by close family members and friends, followed by a celebration on March 12.
Their wedding marked a new chapter for the couple, who had kept their relationship relatively private before making it public. If they choose to observe Karwa Chauth, this year’s festival will be their first after marriage. The couple have not publicly confirmed their plans for the occasion.

Arjun Tendulkar-Saaniya Chandhok
Arjun Tendulkar, son of former India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, married entrepreneur Saaniya Chandhok on March 5, 2026, in Mumbai. Karwa Chauth 2026 would be the couple’s first after their wedding, should they choose to mark the occasion.

Nupur Sanon-Stebin Ben
Actor Nupur Sanon and singer Stebin Ben also married earlier this year. The couple held their wedding celebrations in Udaipur, with a Christian ceremony followed by a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony on January 11 and 12, respectively. Their first Karwa Chauth as a married couple could be another milestone, although they have not announced whether they intend to celebrate the festival.
