KKR star Ramandeep Singh ties the knot with Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan actor Charlie Chauhan in traditional Punjabi wedding

New Delhi: Cricketer Ramandeep Singh and television actor Charlie Chauhan have taken their eight-year relationship to the next stage. The couple got married in a traditional Punjabi ceremony surrounded by family, friends and colleagues from cricket and the entertainment industry.

Ramandeep and Charlie shared their first wedding pictures through a joint Instagram post, captioning them, “8 years of us, and finally… forever.” Videos from the celebrations also surfaced online, showing the couple participating in traditional wedding rituals at a Gurudwara.

The celebrations brought together friends from both sides of the couple’s professional circles. India pacer Arshdeep Singh was among the cricketers spotted at the wedding, while Mumbai Indians batter Naman Dhir, fast bowler Ashwini Kumar and Punjab cricketer Jassinder Singh were also present.

Television actor Jay Bhanushali shared a picture from the celebrations on his Instagram Story. Arshdeep also posted a photograph with the newlyweds and extended his wishes to the couple.

Their wedding pictures prompted congratulatory messages from several celebrities and cricketers. Shubman Gill, Abhishek Sharma and R Ashwin were among those who wished Ramandeep and Charlie on social media.

From the television fraternity, Nandish Sandhu congratulated the couple and wished them “a beautiful life.” Actor Arti Singh also sent her wishes for “lifetime happiness and togetherness.” Singer Richa Sharma and several others joined the celebrations virtually with their messages.

Ramandeep Singh and Charlie Chauhan’s careers

Ramandeep represents Punjab in domestic cricket and plays for Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League. He made his India T20I debut against South Africa on November 13, 2024, and has since featured in two matches for the national side.

The all-rounder was also part of KKR’s title-winning squad in the 2024 IPL season.

Charlie, meanwhile, is best known for her television work, particularly Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan and Best Friends Forever. Her other television appearances include MTV Roadies and the dance reality show Nach Baliye.

The couple’s wedding post also revealed that their relationship had lasted eight years before they finally exchanged wedding vows, marking a new chapter in their journey together.
