KEA extends application deadline for 750 Land Surveyor posts in Karnataka
New Delhi: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the application deadline for candidates seeking government jobs in Karnataka. Applications have been invited for 750 land surveyor/surveyor posts in the Department of Land Records and Survey under the Karnataka government.

The initial deadline for submitting applications was August 7. However, KEA has now extended the deadline to August 20, giving eligible candidates additional time to apply online.
750 land surveyor posts
A total of 750 vacancies will be filled through the recruitment drive. The posts have been divided between the Residual Parent Cadre (RPC) and Kalyana Karnataka (KK) cadre.

KK: 190 posts
Total: 750 posts
Salary up to Rs 76,100
Candidates selected for the Land Surveyor posts will receive a monthly salary in the range of Rs 37,500 to Rs 76,100, depending on the applicable pay scale.
Educational qualification
Applicants must possess the relevant educational qualification prescribed in the recruitment notification from a recognised university or institution.
The eligibility criteria include specified qualifications in areas such as engineering or technology, diploma courses, mathematics, physics, computer science, information technology, instrumentation, electronics and communication, and agricultural science.
Candidates are advised to carefully check the official KEA notification to confirm whether their qualification is applicable to the post before submitting their application.
Age limit
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, while the maximum age limit is generally 40 years. Age relaxation will be applicable to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per Karnataka government rules.
Application fee
The application fee varies according to the candidate’s category. General and applicable OBC category candidates are required to pay Rs 750, while candidates belonging to SC, ST, Category-1 and other applicable reserved categories have to pay Rs 500.
The fee must be paid online, and candidates should check the official KEA notification for the final fee details applicable to their category.
Selection process
Candidates will be selected through an offline OMR-based competitive written examination. The examination will consist of objective-type questions, with negative marking applicable for incorrect answers.
According to the recruitment details, the written examination will comprise two papers. Candidates should refer to the official KEA notification for the examination date, syllabus and subject-wise details.

Eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the KEA website and opening the application link for the Land Surveyor recruitment. Applicants must enter their personal and educational details, upload the required documents, photograph and signature, and pay the applicable application fee online.

Application deadline extended
