Hosting ‘The Traitors’ Telugu is like watching a mystery thriller: Teja Sajja

Teja Sajja is all set to host the regional version of the reality show, ‘The Traitors’. The show, which has been made by SOL Production, will be available only on Prime Video in Telugu with English subtitles from October 15. The episodes of the show will go live every Thursday at noon.

The reality show, which will have 20 celebrities from various fields, will witness 10 episodes with trust and betrayal as the main theme. At a press conference, Teja Sajja said he had fun hosting the show and even compared the format to a murder mystery thriller.

The actor shared that he shot for 11 days for the show and was ecstatic to see familiar faces like Pragathi, Harshavardhan and Chinmayi play the game. “It was a challenge to host as I had to give long speeches about rules and regulations in one take while getting into the minds of the game,” he added.

The actor claimed that ‘The Traitors’ Telugu is something different in terms of reality shows in Telugu. “It is similar to a sport like football or chess where a person needs to know the rules, understand, strategise and outsmart the opponent,” he said.

Teja Sajja added that the reality show has picked up celebrities based on their game-playing skills and not because of their status. “It will be more entertaining for all age groups,” he said.
