‘Comrade Kalyan’ uses Sree Vishnu’s full potential as an entertainer: Director Janakiram Marella

Director Janakiram Marella believes his upcoming period entertainer, `Comrade Kalyan’, would deliver the audiences with sheer entertainment as Sree Vishnu has utilized his acting skills to full potential as the lead actor. The movie, which also has ample portions of romance and emotions, is all set to release globally on 9 th October.

While talking about the film, director Janakiram Marella disclosed that the name `Comrade Kalyan’ was derived from the story itself. He expressed that Sree Vishnu’s caliber as an entertainer has been utilized in full potential in the film as the actor has played a hilarious role which eventually lands him in trouble.

The director further stated that they faced several difficulties while shooting in the dense forests of Agumbe in Mangaluru, known for its wilderness and snakes. He added that they go to great lengths to make the film realistic and entertaining.

The filmmaker especially thanked Sree Vishnu for being a supportive co-star and doing the difficult tasks for the film. He stated the actor had hiked three kms for the shoot and also did a lot of improvisation which helped the film become an entertainer.

Apart from Sree Vishnu, Mahima Nambiar plays the leading lady as the film revolves around the love chemistry between the lead pair. Radhika Sarathkumar, Sathya, and Shine Tom Jacob also play crucial roles.

Comrade Kalyan, presented by Kona Venkat and produced by Venkata Krishna Karnati and Seetha Karnati under Skanda Vahana Motion Pictures LLP, features four different flavored music tracks that have fetched good responses from the audience.
