As of now, our dear Darling Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit is the most-talked-about movie in film circles. Sandeep Reddy Vanga already proved his mettle with his debut film Arjun Reddy. And remaking it in Hindi with Shahid Kapoor gave him the much-needed Pan-Indian appeal. And the next movie, Animal, showcased how he can completely transform a lover boy into a raw and rugged action hero. Ranbir Kapoor was always treated a chocolate boy until he showed off his rage on the big screens.

For his fourth movie, he teamed up with Baahubali Prabhas to deliver another extreme action thriller, Spirit. Already, the first look poster left everyone stunned highlighting Prabhas and Tripti Dimri.

Earlier, there were rumours doing the rounds in the film circles that Hollywood’s ace actor Don Lee will be a part of this movie. But yesterday’s Pranay Reddy interview cleared the air on this speculation. He stated that as Spirit holds a complete local plot, Don Lee doesn’t fit the bill.

Pranay Reddy also revealed the reason behind Deepika’s exit from this project. Pranay revealed that Deepika demanded 10 per cent share in the film’s profit along with her remuneration. She also requested a 6-hour work shift as a new mother. These demands reportedly led to differences with Sandeep, and thus they decided to remove Deepika from this prestigious project.

Well, he also stated that Megastar Chiranjeevi is not being part of this movie. On the whole, Pranay Reddy’s interview cleared all the speculations on the Spirit and also gave us insights about the shooting updates.

As of now, Prabhas took a break from the Spirit sets and resumed shooting for Fauzi. As this movie is scheduled to hit the theatres in December, Prabhas needs to complete his part and move on to the dubbing work.

Coming to Spirit, this movie has an ensemble cast of Vivek Oberoi and Prakash Raj. This highly anticipated movie is being bankrolled under the T-Series banner and will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and international releases including Japanese, Korean, and Mandarin languages. Spirit will hit the theatres on 5th March, 2027.
