Bharateeyudu 3: Kamal Haasan, Shankar sets stage for Senapathy’s return

Kamal Haasan’s beloved Senapathy is set to make a comeback as Bharateeyudu 3 and will showcase the forgotten past of the revered vigilante and look back on the experiences of his freedom struggle days.

The Bharateeyudu 3 glimpse highlighted a young Senapathy and a thrilling era in action-packed settings. The glimpse also featured Kajal Aggarwal and S. J. Suryah.

Director S. Shankar, who also pens the story for the film, recently mentioned that a significant portion of Bharateeyudu 3 will be set in the past. The story will delve deep into Senapathy’s past as a freedom fighter, tracing his journey from there till the time he became the vigilante that everyone knew and loved from the 1996 original.

Meanwhile Bharateeyudu 3 is currently in the editing phase with the remaining shoot to commence shortly. A release date for the film is also expected to be announced soon.

Bharateeyudu 3, which is also named as Indian 3 in Tamil and Hindustani 3 in Hindi, features a star-studded ensemble cast including Priya Bhavani Shankar, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Nedumudi Venu, Vivek, Anirudh and Brahmanandam. Ravi Varman has been roped in for cinematography while T. Muthuraj has been appointed as the production designer. Produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under Lyca Productions, Bharateeyudu 3 will see Kamal Haasan and Shankar reprise their association with another chapter in Senapathy’s life.
