Cheers Group wins 34 global awards in Q1
Goa’s Cheers Group had a stellar awards season and highly decorated first quarter April to June of the current financial year, sweeping major global titles. Most notably, their flagship Kadamba Single Malt was named “Best World Whisky” (and won Double Gold) at the John Barleycorn awards (USA) and earned six medals at the IWSC Spirits awards. It won 11 medals at a prominent Chicago Bartender spirits competition, 10 medals at the London spirits awards, four medals at International spirits challenge, one each at American council and San Francisco; and the Gold quality award at the 2026 Monde Selection.

Additionally, Cheers group’s other award-winning products making waves include: GinSin London dry gin–awarded ‘Best Indian Gin’ at the World Gin Awards and Gold at the Asia World Spirits competition. Coco-Jumbo, recognized as the world’s first Feni liqueur, won Gold at the USA Spirits Ratings. The CEO of Cheers group Ashwin Balivada is frequently credited as the architect behind the team’s relentless winning streak.
