Maharashtra: Training plane crashes while landing at Baramati airstrip

New Delhi: A major aviation accident was reported from Baramati in Maharashtra on Sunday. Here a trainer aircraft of a private company crashed while attempting to land at the airstrip. This is the exact same place where Deputy CM of Maharashtra, Ajit Pawar was killed, when his plane crashed in January 2026.

The Pune SP Sandip Singh Gill was quoted by Hindustan Times as saying that the training aircraft belonged to Redbird Flight Training Academy. He confirmed that no injuries had been reported in this disaster.
