Shooters’ bike recovered

The investigation has also led police to the motorcycle allegedly used by the attackers. According to the initial probe, the accused travelled from Juhu towards Andheri after the shooting and later abandoned the Pulsar motorcycle. Police recovered and seized the vehicle. Investigators are examining its registration details, number plate and chassis number. The probe has reportedly found that the motorcycle had changed ownership three times, with its first owner traced to Jogeshwari. Mumbai Police have formed 15 teams to investigate the firing and trace the accused. An FIR has been registered against unidentified persons under Sections 109(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, along with relevant provisions of the Arms Act.The seriousness of the case has also prompted its transfer to the Mumbai Crime Branch. The authenticity of the messages and the alleged gang connection are being investigated by police.

In the audio note supplied to the media, the man identifying himself as Pandit said, “Anyone in the film industry who works separately from us, or works with Salman Khan, we will kill him. And this is the first and last warning. This Salman Khan is Dawood’s (Ibrahim) dog, and we have kept a dog named Dawood at home.”

“We will not spare anyone in your family, not even your pet dogs,” the Bishnoi gang warned if Salman Khan does not apologise.
