Tiger Shroff firing probe: Four accused reach Mumbai from Delhi; police to seek custody
New Delhi: The investigation into the firing involving Bollywood actor has gathered pace, with being brought to Mumbai from Delhi. Kunal, Sumit, Radha and Babita, who were earlier arrested by the Delhi Police Special Cell, reached Mumbai on transit remand in the early hours of Thursday (October 22).
The four accused are expected to be produced before a court today. The Mumbai Police’s Anti-Extortion Cell is likely to seek their custody for further questioning in connection with the case.
Who are the four accused brought from Delhi?
The four accused have been identified as Kunal, 21, Sumit, 19, and two women, Radha and Babita. According to reports, the four reached Mumbai at around 1 am and were taken to the Anti-Extortion Cell office, where senior police officials carried out an initial round of questioning.
Following their arrival in , Radha and Babita were shifted under tight security to the women’s lock-up at Azad Maidan Police Station in South Mumbai at around 2 am. They are being held under the supervision of female police personnel. Kunal and Sumit are also in police custody ahead of their court appearance.
Investigators are expected to seek remand of all four as they attempt to establish their individual roles in the alleged conspiracy.
Police plan joint questioning of accused
The Mumbai Police are now expected to question the four accused alongside other suspects already in custody. Three accused who were earlier arrested in Kota, Rajasthan, have been remanded to police custody until October 31. Investigators are planning to question the suspects brought from Delhi and Kota together to verify their statements and establish possible connections between them.
The joint questioning could help police reconstruct the sequence of events leading up to the firing and determine how the different accused allegedly came into contact with one another.

The investigation is now focused on identifying the people who planned and facilitated the firing. The officials are investigating various aspects of the case, including the links between the accused, the money flow and the alleged chain of instructions behind the attack.
Investigators are also trying to find out if the accused was being directed by somebody else and who allegedly gave the final instructions to carry out the firing. As more suspects are questioned, police are attempting to piece together the wider network and establish whether different people were assigned separate roles in the alleged conspiracy.
The links between suspects in different states have also become an important part of the investigation. With accused being brought to Mumbai from Delhi, Haryana and Kota, investigators are trying to establish how the alleged network operated across locations.
