Sourya Vemuri Develops MARICHI for Radiation Management

Sourya Vemuri, a Northeastern University alumnus, has built a career combining science and technology with the radiopharmaceutical industry. With experience as a scientist at Perspective Therapeutics in the USA, he now serves as Vice President at Futran Solutions and heads its SG Biosciences division.

His latest initiative, MARICHI, is a web-based radioactive material management platform connecting radiopharma teams, hospitals, clinics and educational institutions. The system features more than 14 modules and six role-based access levels, supporting organised and auditable workflows.

MARICHI has attracted interest from organisations in the USA, including Mayo Clinic and universities. The platform is also being explored for applications across radiology, nuclear medicine and oncology in India.
