Sony launches its biggest Bravia TV in India at ₹28.99 lakh
New Delhi: Sony India has expanded its premium television range with a 115-inch Bravia 9II, the company’s largest Bravia TV so far. The giant 292 cm model carries an MRP of ₹45,99,900, with a listed best-buy price of ₹28,99,990. It will go on sale in India soon.
The new model joins Sony’s True RGB television range, which now covers screen sizes from 55 inches to 115 inches. That top model is clearly meant for large homes, private screening rooms and buyers who have enough wall space to make a cinema projector feel slightly nervous.
What does the 115-inch Sony Bravia 9II offer?
Sony’s True RGB system uses independently controlled red, green and blue LEDs. The company says this setup can produce a wider colour range, stronger brightness and more accurate shades than a conventional LED backlight. The Bravia 9II pairs this system with Sony’s XR processor, Luminance Booster Pro and Smooth Colour Gradation.
The 115-inch version gets a 12-speaker Acoustic Multi-Audio+ system comprising:
- Eight full-range speakers
- Two tweeters
- Two subwoofers
Sony has excluded this size from its Immersive Black Screen Pro treatment, which is available on smaller Bravia 9II models.
Google TV and Gemini support are included
The TV runs Google TV and brings streaming apps, live television and connected devices onto a common home screen. Sony says Gemini support will arrive through a future software update, allowing users to search and interact with the TV using more natural voice requests.
Nezu Daisuke, Global Head of Sony’s Home Product Business Division, said, “With the introduction of the 115 (292 cm), we are pushing the boundaries of home entertainment by bringing an unprecedented, cinema-like experience into the home.”
Sony Bravia 9II and 7II prices in India
The Bravia 9II costs ₹5,39,990 for the 75-inch model and ₹6,69,990 for the 85-inch version. The Bravia 7II starts at ₹2,21,990 for 55 inches and goes up to ₹5,29,990 for 85 inches.
The smaller Bravia 9II and Bravia 7II models are already available through Sony stores, major electronics retailers and online platforms. Sony has not announced a firm sale date for the 115-inch model.
