Silver futures slip on lower positions

Silver prices fell by Rs 792 to Rs 2,26,792 per kilogram in futures trade as participants reduced their bets.

Silver contracts for September delivery declined 0.35 per cent in a business turnover of 1,700 lots.

Analysts said a sell-off by participants mainly weighed on silver prices.
