Sandeep Reddy Vanga Hits Back At Critics Over Raptadu School Incident

It is well known that the Raptadu school incident sent shock waves across the country. This heinous crime also raised the questions about the safety of the children in the schools. On the other hand, some of the people also started debating that movies like Arjun Reddy, Animal, Dhurandhar, etc are leaving a strong influence on society amid discussions about increasing violence in films.

Thus, Tollywood’s ace director Sandeep Reddy Vanga who is known for his Arjun Reddy, Animal and Spirit movies responded on this issue through Twitter and gave a strong counter too. Take a look!

This post reads, “When someone commits a heinous crime, the first response should be empathy & an attempt to understand the larger problem. Not finding a convenient scapegoat in cinema. It is becoming increasingly clear that your concern is not for the victims or their families, but that you’re using a horrific tragedy as a dirty excuse to settle your personal scores.

This is especially directed at those failed frustrated jobless male/female actors, few directors, producers & parasites, who suddenly appoint themselves as social reformers whenever an opportunity arises to take a dig at someone else’s work. A tragedy deserves empathy, not opportunism. Learn the difference.”

Well, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is currently busy with Prabhas’s Spirit which is scheduled to hit the theatres in the second half of 2027.
