Ramayana advance booking: Ranbir Kapoor’s film crosses Rs 100 crore in India before release
New Delhi: Nitesh Tiwari’s much-awaited epic has set the box office buzzing even before its theatrical release, crossing the Rs 100-crore mark in advance bookings across India. Starring in the lead role, the film has reportedly grossed Rs 104.58 crore through advance sales, including block bookings, ahead of its November 5 release.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, has sold approximately 27.69 lakh tickets across 87,881 shows in 907 cities. The numbers indicate a strong response from audiences across different regions, with the Hindi version accounting for the largest share of the collections.

The Hindi version of Ramayana has generated Rs 85.37 crore in advance bookings, comfortably leading the language-wise figures. The Telugu version follows with Rs 8.57 crore, while the Kannada version has contributed Rs 7.86 crore. The Tamil version has recorded Rs 2.23 crore, and the Malayalam version has earned Rs 54.74 lakh.
Among the major markets, the National Capital Region (NCR) has emerged as the biggest contributor, with advance ticket sales worth Rs 15.07 crore. Mumbai occupies the second position with Rs 12.93 crore, followed by Bengaluru at Rs 10.63 crore. Hyderabad has registered advance bookings worth Rs 5.99 crore, while Pune has contributed approximately Rs 4.29 crore.
The film is also generating considerable interest in international markets, particularly North America. Paid previews have reportedly collected more than USD 1.20 million, while advance bookings for the opening weekend in the United States are nearing the USD 3-million mark. The overseas response further adds to the growing expectations surrounding the film’s opening.
