Pixel Moments to Politics For Cong As BJP Celebrates Modi@25
The High Drama ended on Wednesday as the police finally detained LoP Rahul Gandhi, who resisted boarding the bus for some time. Priyanka Vadra also offered a lot of resistance as women police surrounded her, and when their repeated requests to vacate the place failed, they took her into detention and forcibly moved her from the road where she was lying down. She too resisted boarding the bus, holding a copy of the Constitution, which they keep waving both inside and outside the Parliament.

The party activists tried to stop the bus, and the police changed the route and took the bus from the opposite direction.
While protesting in a democracy is the right of opposition parties, the police and BJP say that no one can protest without taking the permission of the police. Whether it is Rahul or anyone, they cannot claim they are above the law.
Analysts feel that these pixel moments are more to tell the cadre that the Congress is fighting for the rights of the people, keeping in view the upcoming elections in UP, Punjab and other states. Their struggle is also to reactivate the cadre and tell the government that while you celebrate Modi@25, Congress will continue to challenge the government.
However, with detentions over now, the roads have been opened to traffic, but police deployment continues. What would be the next move of opposition MPs or Rahul Gandhi on Day 3 remains to be seen.
