NTPC concludes Medha Pratiyogita 2026 national finale
Bengaluru: NTPC Ltd has concluded the national finale of its annual Medha Pratiyogita 2026 at the Power Management Institute (PMI), Noida, with 24 teams competing across Junior, Middle, Senior and Employee categories.

The competition witnessed participation from 1,863 teams representing various NTPC projects and regions. The contest began with the unit and project-level written round on July 12, followed by regional rounds held at Korba, Ramagundam, Talcher Kaniha, Nabinagar, Dadri and PMI, Noida.
The national finale featured six finalist teams in each of the four categories. The winners in the Junior category were Ahaan and Devayansh Singh of the Western Region, while Utkarsh Parikh and Darsh Jain from the Northern Region won the Middle category.
Tanmay Verma and Harshit Sharma, also representing the Northern Region, emerged winners in the Senior category. In the Employee category, Anshuman Shrivastav and Shubham Mishra of the Western Region secured the top position.
Each winning team received ₹30,000 in prize money along with a Certificate of Excellence. The awards were presented by Anil Kumar Jadli, Director (HR), NTPC Ltd.
Medha Pratiyogita is among NTPC’s annual flagship initiatives aimed at encouraging learning and knowledge-sharing while providing employees and their families an opportunity to participate in a competitive and engaging platform.
