MS Subbulakshmi biopic team thanks Rajini for his blessings

Superstar Rajinikanth is overjoyed that the makers of the biopic on legendary Carnatic vocalist and Bharat Ratna awardee MS Subbulakshmi have blessed with the film titled MS: A Legacy on Screen. The superstar’s enthusiastic comments made during a recent Jailer 2 Super Show interview have made the team thrilled.

“I call MS Subbulakshmi as the Divine Spiritual Icon with Nationalistic Super Power. I am eagerly looking forward to the movie. I am confident that Anirudh’s composition will do justice to late legendary singer. I am really happy that Anirudh is doing MSS biopic. It’s going to be another Sankarabharanam. I’m eagerly waiting for that,” said Rajinikanth.

Meanwhile, the makers of the biopic thanked the superstar for his blessings and support as they gear up to kick-start the project. The film’s pooja ceremony has already been held.

Starrer with RashmikaMandanna as MS Subbulakshmi will be directed by GowtamTinnanuri with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The pan-India biopic will be backed by Allu Aravind, Rockline Venkatesh and Bunny Vas as producers and is expected to hit the screens with high production values. The makers are expected to release more details about the project in the coming days.
