Masters Cricket Association of Hyderabad launched to promote veterans’ cricket
Hyderabad: The Masters Cricket Association of Hyderabad (MCAH) has been launched to provide cricket enthusiasts and former aspiring cricketers, who could not pursue the sport professionally and have since settled in various fields, an opportunity to showcase their cricketing talent, said MCAH President S.P. Reddy.

The announcement of the MCAH office-bearers and the unveiling of the Renova Masters Super Cricket League (MSL) trophy were held in a grand manner on at SLN Terminus, Marriott, Gachibowli, Hyderabad. Film actor Ali formally inaugurated the event.
“The common DNA that unites all of us is cricket. The journey that has begun under the MCAH banner should be taken to the international level with the collective efforts of all members. We aspire to take the MSL beyond Hyderabad and eventually provide a platform for matches at international venues,” the president said.
HCA Joint Secretary T. Basavaraju and TG20 Chairman V.Agam Rao assured the association of their full support and cooperation for the development of cricket, both personally and through HCA. They also wished all the participating players the very best for the league.
MSL Trophy Unveiled
Later, film actor Ali unveiled the trophy of the Renova Masters Super Cricket League (MSL). The five-day league will commence on October 7 at Prime Arena on the outskirts of Hyderabad. Seven teams — KLR Transformers, Maa Spaces, Raging Bulls, Juper LED Bullets, Suncrest Warriors, Terminus and Reet Mavericks will compete in the tournament. The MSL final will be played on October 11.
