Manipal Health shares jump 13% in debut trade
New Delhi: Shares of Manipal Health Enterprises on Wednesday ended with a premium of 13 per cent against the issue price of Rs 590. The stock started trading at Rs 655, up 11 per cent from the issue price on the BSE. During the day, it jumped 14.58 per cent to Rs 676.05. The stock finally ended at Rs 666.70, up 13 per cent.

At the NSE, the stock made its market debut at Rs 652, registering a jump of 10.50 per cent.
It ended at Rs 666.95, up 13 per cent. The company commanded a market valuation of Rs 87,696.20 crore. In traded volume terms, 43.91 lakh shares of the firm were traded at the BSE and 470.08 lakh shares on the NSE during the day.
The initial public offer of Manipal Health Enterprises was subscribed 4.92 times on the closing day of bidding on Friday last week. The price band for the IPO was Rs 560-590 per share.
The Bengaluru-based company’s IPO had a fresh issue of equity shares worth up to Rs 8,000 crore and an Offer-for-Sale (OFS) of up to 2.16 crore equity shares by existing shareholders.
